Electrochemical behavior of cocaine cutting agents at the polarized liquid-liquid interface

چکیده

In this work, we have used cyclic voltammetry to investigate the interfacial behavior of cocaine cutting agents at electrified liquid-liquid interface formed between a solution water and 1,2-dichloroethane phases. Among 27 chemical species adulterate street samples, only 8 were detectable in available potential window. These include procaine, lidocaine, levamisole, hydroxyzine, caffeine, phenylethylamine, diltiazem, diphenhydramine. From calibration curves obtained using voltammetric data, extracted electroanalytical parameters such as detection sensitivities, limits detection, quantifications. Also, for each electrochemically active drug, calculated diffusion coefficients plotted ion partition concentration fraction diagrams. All information is discussed view sensors development focused on its from demanding matrix defined by samples composition.

Electrochemical modulation of SERS at the liquid/liquid interface.

A surface enhanced Raman scattering system to detect silver nanoparticle adsorption at the water|1,2-dichlorobenzene interface is reported. The Raman response as a function of distance on either side of the interface reveals a reproducible spatial variation, which is potential dependent for a number of adsorption and desorption cycles.

Electrochemical Investigation of Adsorption of Single‐Wall Carbon Nanotubes at a Liquid/Liquid Interface

There is much interest in understanding the interfacial properties of carbon nanotubes, particularly at water/oil interfaces. Here, the adsorption of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) at the water/1,2-dichloroethane (DCE) interface, and the subsequent investigation of the influence of the adsorbed nanotube layer on interfacial ion transfer, is studied by using the voltammetric transfer of t...

Adsorption Behavior of Surfactant Mixtures at Solid-Liquid Interface

Behavior of surfactant mixtures at solid-liquid interfaces was investigated using anionic-nonionic and catjonic-nonionic surfactants of different structures. The results show that adsorption of nonionic surfactants on alumina was enhanced significantly by the coadsorption of ionic surfactants. The adsorption beha vior of these binary surfactant mixtures was dependent upon the ratio of the two s...

Probing charge screening dynamics and electrochemical processes at the solid-liquid interface with electrochemical force microscopy.

The presence of mobile ions complicates the implementation of voltage-modulated scanning probe microscopy techniques such as Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM). Overcoming this technical hurdle, however, provides a unique opportunity to probe ion dynamics and electrochemical processes in liquid environments and the possibility to unravel the underlying mechanisms behind important processes at...
